All handbuilt with craquele white glaze. The plate are from rare white stoneware clay. And spoon are from earthernware and minerals clay.
Lovely for housewarming gift or a daily use.
Hand wash only and please do not soak in a water for a long period.

we are made from carbon

Majolica, Engobes, and Glaze on Earthernware-Stoneware thin plate. Single high reduction fire. I made this in 2012 the day after I know I was pregnant. Its just a sketch or maybe some carthasis or just an idea...aren't we all made from carbon?

Spoons process-after bisque firing

I have to post this because some of them are to failed to be true for use...i mean, more than a half from them are failed during glaze firing. Many glaze are so ugly, some of them are just came...into pieces. Sad.

Sisterhood

Iam the eldest from three sisters. I spent my entire childhood palying, laughing, yelling, dancing, and fighting with them. I remember, there was a time we dont always-or must i say-almost always-not agree about everything, everytime. Anyway, sometimes all you need is a moment when your sisters tell you what the reality was, as striking as honesty. And as precious it can be.

Virage's flower

Another ceramic plate. I made this as a test piece for my works back then. Kinda first timer ki d of things. I draw what came first in my mind. This plate is very very thin. 2012. Glaze and underglaze on earthernware.

Mermaid Spoon

I handbuilt this spoon from bone china clay, and then drew some cobalt in it. It is so tactile yet functional. Length is 15cm, spoon diameter approx 5cm. One of a kind, made in bandung by me.
